I serve as a doula and childbirth educator for English, Ukrainian, and Russian speaking families in the Kiev area. I assist families with both home births and hospital births. (Resume below)
2019: After 12 years straight of breastfeeding and 4 pregnancies, I am ready to attend births again as a doula! My age, experiences, and distance from my own birth experiences give me a lot of perspective and compassion and a huge love of birthing couples.

My personal birth experience (we have four children) has been 2 home births with a midwife attending, a third home birth with only my husband (and a midwife we could call long-distance with questions), and the fourth also with my husband.

2006, 2008: Attended Christian Midwives International conferences
2008-2010: Certified with Charis Childbirth International as a doula and childbirth educator
2008 to 2015: Taught childbirth preparation classes, attended births (and miscarriages and C-section moms) as a doula. Both home and hospital births.
2010-2015: Studied midwifery with Ancient Art Midwifery Institute
2012-2015: Wrote and facilitate Oxytocin Intensive Study Module for AAMI
2014: Attended Midwifery Skills Lab
Other activities:
- published several articles in birth magazines
- interviewed on Christian radio in Kiev about home birth
- hosted 2 birth (and related women’s issues) conferences in Kiev

2015-to the present: Break for raising and home schooling my children. I periodically take on doula clients for those who find me and ask 😉
